HEAT (which stands for Heuristically Enhanced Asynchronous Transactions Ledger) is a decentralized blockchain that aims to solve the scalability and transaction speed issues that many blockchains face. The HEAT Ledger code streamlines blockchain technologies through the implementation of a sliced blockchain mechanism. This mechanism supports data storage and access at fast speeds because it splits the data into separate files according to their file types. Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-Presence consensuses are used to power transactions and storage, respectively. Decentralized applications, instant messaging, and multi-signature wallets are also available on the network.
