Crown is a digital asset and decentralized application platform that serves as a self-governed community project. Anyone can build a decentralized application on the Crown blockchain and create a virtual economy through it. The project is governed and funded by the community through its self-governance model where everyone gets a vote. Existing Bitcoin miners and nodes can merge mine Crown without needing to drastically change anything. However, Crown has explicitly chosen to not include any anonymity features, choosing to make both the network and its users as transparent as possible. Other existing proprietary projects may use Crown for verification and billing, but will not be able to run their code on it.
Crown (CRW) is the digital asset of the Crown network that can be sent peer-to-peer, used as collateral, and used to pay transaction fees.
